Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, was criticized by Donald Trump, who referred to him as “a dictator without elections” and “a modestly successful comedian.”
Miami USA: US President Donald Trump has stated that “World War III” is “not so far away,” but he has emphasized that his administration would stop it from occurring in reference to the current crises in the Middle East and Ukraine.

President Trump stated that he was traveling quickly across the globe “to end wars” in order to bring about world peace because he didn’t want to witness “everybody being killed” during his speech at the Future Investment Initiative Institute Priority Summit on Wednesday (local time).
According to a CNN report, Trump stated in Miami, “I want peace, and I don’t want to see… everybody being killed.” He continued, “Around the world, I’m moving quickly to end wars, settle conflicts, and restore the planet to peace.”
“And look at the deaths that have been occurring in the Middle East and between Russia and Ukraine, and we’re going to put an end to them. Having World War III is not profitable for anyone, and you are not that far away from it—I’ll tell you that now. You would have been in World War III if we had [President Joe Biden’s] administration for one further year, but that won’t happen now,” he said.
The US president also referred to the negotiations as a “big step” and praised Saudi Arabia for hosting and supporting the US-Russian discussions on the crisis in Ukraine on Wednesday.
Additionally, he attacked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, labeling him “a dictator without elections” and “a modestly successful comedian,” indicating that the United States is shifting its position in the Russia-Ukraine dispute in favor of Moscow.
Following a social media spat between Mr. Trump and Mr. Zelensky, the Ukrainian president said that his American counterpart “lives in this disinformation space” and is “(helping) Putin out of his isolation.”
According to Mr. Trump, “I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job – his country is shattered, and millions and millions of people have unnecessarily died – and you can’t bring a war to an end if you don’t talk to both sides.” He was defending his decision to not invite Ukraine to participate in the Saudi Arabia talks.
“So, we hope to see a ceasefire soon and to reestablish stability in Europe and the Middle East,” he stated.
